I try to support as many rail preservation groups as I can, but this is why I never donate to the 3751 organization. They never publicize these moves so the public can view. I have zero interest in seeing any locomotive just sit on a spur at Fullerton, while someone passes out Operation Lifesaver pamphlets. If they don't want us to see it run, I don't know why they restored it to operation in the first place. But then again all they ever do is push it from Redondo to Fullerton and back, so that is hardly worth the effort to go out and see. 3751 is scarcely more interesting now than it was when it sat in Viaduct park in San Berdoo. I believe 3751 just had major work done on it. They have done trips to San Diego. One I was able to ride on. I am hesitant to be critical of any groups these days who operate steam. Perhaps BNSF or Metrolink requested they not make the move public. Much like NS does when 765 or 611 move on their tracks.

It will run forward back to LA Sunday afternoon (a steam crew member told me that it will be sometime after 3:00 PM Sunday).

The Amtrak P42 and 4-8-4 Northern were both quietly idling as they passed me by at Hobart Yard.
