BNSF and UP at Slaughter, WA
Author: BrianA

At least Slaughter is what Auburn, WA was called at one time.  Kind of glad it was changed to Auburn!  These photos are from today 9-21-22.

1.  BNSF XPSAHAS with 6554/GECX 4505 at East Auburn, WA headed towards Stampede Pass.

2. UP local LS41 with UP GP39N 1215 at Auburn heads for Sumner, WA with three covered hoppers.  UP roster shows this as being ex-MKT 366 built in 1984.

3.  BNSF H-INBROO with 286/128/278  (SD75I/GP60M/SD75I) arrives at Auburn with an Interbay garbage train.  Hazy skies is from Bolt Creek fire west of Skykomish on Stevens Pass that started two weeks ago shutting down US-2 over the pass ever since.
