The feeder line goes up to a place called "R+L Rocks".   This spur was built for and used to offload sludge coming from New York City in sealed containers the 90s.  I guess the rock operation took over after that stopped.  Now there are plans for a rare earth mine in that general area.

Anyone know what that would be, and
why was this the best place to dump it?
