I recieved word today that the 2 RBBX reconfigured passenger cars for UP's vegetation spray train are completed and will be heading toward Des Moines soon and then onto AZ/CA to meet up with the rest of the spray train.

Looking from some solid pix and vids so I can work on some 3D designs of these to add to my RELCO Fleet.

Need car numbers to help locate these unique cars.  2 RBBX reconfigured passenger cars

I was not given that information.  You cant see the numbers in the image that was sent to me either. I'll try and ask for more info.

Car numbers could be 6312 and 5764 if they are the same two I saw heading to Albia last year: https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,5178159.  But they had the UPP reporting mark then, and as noted in that thread, they probably won't have that reporting mark in weed spraying service.

thats them, but they look nothing like that anymore. lol    

the newest car they added this summer was numbered 980359 the sprayer itself is 980356, so my guess is the 2 new cars are 980357 and 980358.

Those sound like old U.P.. 6-axle baggage car numbers.... the origianl car numbers, in fact.  If someone can confirm those, I'll look up their heritage sheets in the Ringling Bros.' car roster records and psot them here.

yes those are the original UP numbers.  here is the 2 cars going to Albia back in june 2020.

UP 980357 and 980358 reported departing Ottumwa, IA southbound 01/16/23 abut 11am.  I don't have a destination.

UP 980357 should be ex-UPP 6312
UP 980358 should be ex-UPP 5764

The 2 Cars, a power unit and tail are headed to FTW.  the Crew Cars lost a lot of doors and need replaced.  the UP Crew and others are meeting up with this consist and the rest of the train next week.

The Crew Cars are in Dallas getting some repairs in Ginnie Yard east of the Tower55.

Hoping this will be an easier hunt for folks. :D
