Morning vs Afternoon
Author: MacBeau

The guardrail view of the western side of Crozier Canyon on the Seligman Sub two weeks ago today was well dusted with snow mid-morning, but temporarily devoid of rail traffic. Late afternoon the trains were running like streetcars, but the sun had altered the appearance of the landscape by then.

i never made it that far east to see the curve at crozier in the snow in the morning.  awesome image.

later that afternoon i did get a video of an e/b 4x3x0 stack train blasting out of valentine up towards the crozier curve.

the snow in the immediate kingman area hung around longer.........

That eastbound climbed past us just before the westbound arrived. Will have to dig out those shots.

Nice set of sorta before-and-after photos.  A few hours made a world of difference.

Love the contrast from morning to afternoon on the snow front. The area does look great with the snow.

Thanks for adding the video. My Lady commented at the time about how long this train was, and she was right.

Great!  I missed this one when it was fresh, glad I found it!  So many spots on the Transcon that you just can't go wrong and this is one of them.
