#17.  The only buildings remaining standing today are the taller building on the far right and the one shorter building to its left.  Everything else has been or will be replaced by high rises.  Great traction pictures today, Larry, as usual.  Thanks.

Thanks HT6 for all the sad infomation. I'm glad I saw that area before the modern change, SF was a great old looking City.

Nice weather with a very nice variety of traffic.
Great catch of an awesome weather display in Photo 5!
Unusual, two NS units heading west on different trains.

HISTORIC TRACTION

Larry,

I've seen a few pics of that training PCC in Philly. This is a new and clearer one. I never saw it in person. Scary that they appear to be flying black flags!
Thanks for more transit goodies.

Thannks Mac, I liked the GP also. Thanks Allen for an on time arrival. Thanks for your very interesting reviews, unit of the day and glad you liked the weather shot. Had more the same weather today with rain and hail all around, but not in Ritzville. We could use the moisture also. No 16 shows a view of LAMTA car 1450 while on another excursion, this time on the 'V-Line' at the northern end
of its route at the New Hampshire Ave wye within the campus of Los Angeles City College. The wye had been built to
allow predecessor LARy to turn its single-ended PCCs without the benefit of a loop in preparation for their southward trips.
Notice the "Perris" destination sign; many miles from the nearest 'home rail' of its owner. From the looks of these photos
it appears the local railfan community was dedicated to make one last trip aboard the 1450 over a major portion of what
was left the former LARy system before moving on to her new owners in Perris. Thankfully we have these photos to
show the extent of the fan base at the time.

Thanks Charlie as always for an interesting classroom narrative on the 1450 and it's final destination. Much Appreciated!
