Snowstorm with strong north wind ravaged the eastern Colorado prairies on Saturday morning, 25 March 2023.  Kyle Railroad crew vanned over icy Interstate 70 from Goodland, KS, to Seibert, CO.  Kyle RR used two Utah Railway lettered units, 5004 & 5003, to switch the Seibert Equity grain elevators.

Thanks for sharing those photos. I bet that is a fun railroad to work for in the winter. "Crew vanned over icy Interstate 70." No thanks.

I'm not sure who gets the photo credit for this one, but it's been a tough winter on the Eastern Plains of Colorado.

Makes me sad that the only properly painted unit in Utah is sitting in Provo missing several components.

Great pics, makes me cold as I sit here in suburban Phoenix and my wife is chirping at me to mow the lawn. Thanks for posting.
