Colorful weekend around La Crosse WI

Well people it's been very colorful weekend in the La Crosse WI area, sit back and enjoy what has rolled past my camera starting with CP 260 CP 8044 and two surprising motors, CMQ 1002 / 1006 at Dakota MN 3-25-2023

CP 261 UP 8121 was a tad tardy as it rolled past Dakota MN behind the UP 8121. CP 375 with the CP 7038 looking good in the early Spring light curving past Dakota Mn3-25-2023. Into early Sunday morning with the NS 1144 resting in the BNSF La Crosse WI yard.

CP GPS ballast loads with the KCS 3963 was up next shown here rolling off the Black River bridge in La Crosse and again south of La Crescent MN heading towards Marquette Iowa. CP 644 had the KCS 4154 solo rolling through Dresbach MN, this train was also going towards Marquette Iowa.

The NREX 1295 has been sitting in the BNSF yard for awhile, usually coupled on both ends but this morning it wasn't. CP 254 was working the CP La Crosse yard behind the NS 4410, shown here making their last "double" before heading to Portage WI. Lastly CP 547 had the CSXT 7816 leading past the Amtrak Depot here in La Crosse WI, I thought I heard this train also getting a warrant to head south to Marquette Iowa.  Have a GREAT week!
