A regular morning in Helper UT.

The first picture is a 4 hour late #6 arriving in Helper I just posted a video of the same train. The second photo is a group of locomotives that took off up Price Canyon right before 6 showed up.

That is not the Helper I remember...looks like UP has been busy "improving" the ROW with destruction. Kind of like what they did at Craig, CO.

there's a lot of work adjacent to the tracks as Amtrak rebuilds the platform for ADA compliance.
