The M-SPOLAU climbs Bozeman Pass with a Livingston helper set on the point and empty Boeing cars first out in the train.  West End MT, June 30, 2018.

Very nice Mike especially with the empty Boeing cars.  Sadly the MRL is soon to become another fallen flag.

That looks like a little Horse-Power-Hours horse trading, three standard cab MRL SDs behind the 3 unit set of Livingston helpers. In 2018 they did that for a short while in a Laurel to Spokane and back routing.

Congrats on Image of the Day.

Sorry for the ignorance, I just don't have the time to tag along on every discussion. I believe BNSF took over MRL, correct? If so, when is the date this take effect? I should would love t9 see an MRL train before they are no more.

Jan 1, 2024 is the official date although they can start getting their hands into things here in a few weeks

Does Boeing have its own trackmobile or a WR Stamler car mover
or do they have an arrangement with MRL for switching moves of
loaded and empty cars  out from under the assembly shop floors?
