Metra Filed Suit Over CP/KCS Merger on May 12

On May 12, METRA filed a suit with the U.S. Court of Appeals for D.C. regarding
STB’s decision approving the CP/KCS merger. This was reported online by Trains.

This ought to be interesting as the STB’s current chair is Martin Oberman who also served as the chair of Metra’s Board prior to his appointment to the STB in 2019.

Police talk about the different accounts of the same crime froim individual witnesses, seems the
Boardman (Oberman) is in a similar situation.
