Mike,
which direction was it heading, also what time of the day. I did not notice it going thru LaGrande, wish I could have caught it.

Heritage should turn out to be Santa Fe.

Eastbound. PDNP means Portland-North Platte. It left La Grande after a crew change around 1630 today.

Per STB recordation 33060-DD, sold November 30, 2021 to Wide Eye Productions in North Carolina for $43,000.  Apparently, they shoot Great Scenic Railway Journeys, to which GSJX belongs.

GSJX 501 is ex Amtrak 9351, exx ATSF 501 Pleasure Dome.  The proposed name for this car would have been Plaza Laguna but the names were never added.  They entered service with numbers only.  Built by Pullman Standard in December 1950 for the Super Chief.

I didn’t know that about the names. Cool. So that must have been how the PV Plaza Santa Fe got it’s name.
