On Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 6 p.m., an eastbound BNSF 3+0 manifest approaches Midas from American, near Baxter, CA. The train has BNSF 6705, 4305, 4665 for power.

Why was the BNSF at Baxter?  I remember meeting a couple of them on the Hill while working 5 & 6, but I forget the reason they were there. 

They have a run through agreement with the UP.

It's a trackage rights train after the UP purchased the SP. It is manned by UP crews from Roseville eastbound.
