Mystery Loco
Author: rrthug

While driving home from work on Monday, I caught a glimpse of an eastbound BNSF freight about to cross the Columbia River bridge into Pasco WA.  Tucked in behind the power was a low nose GP 7 or 9.  Unit looked to have fairly new or fresh paint in an attractive red/orange/black scheme and a Milwaukee Road style herald under the cab windows.  Was too far away to get a number or road name.  Any ideas what I saw??
Thanks,
Mike

I believe Mt. Rainier Scenic still has a couple of old Milwaukee Road post-World War II coaches.

For those of you who would like to know what 9120 looks like, go to that popular video site whose name starts with the letter 'Y' and do a search on IC GP10 9120, and the first search result should be 9120 on its final run pulling a train on the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad.
