Western Railroad Discussion > Mystery LocoDate: 11/12/24 20:12 Mystery Loco Author: rrthug While driving home from work on Monday, I caught a glimpse of an eastbound BNSF freight about to cross the Columbia River bridge into Pasco WA. Tucked in behind the power was a low nose GP 7 or 9. Unit looked to have fairly new or fresh paint in an attractive red/orange/black scheme and a Milwaukee Road style herald under the cab windows. Was too far away to get a number or road name. Any ideas what I saw??

Rainier Scenic Railroad.
