The westbound Triple Crown Roadrailer of the day pulled by NS 9800 rolls off the Wabash lift bridge over the Illinois River at Valley City, IL in the late afternoon of August 17, 2024. This bridge replaced an older swing bridge just upriver in 1959. === === = === JLH.

Neat bridge!  I don't  know that I've ever seen this before.

I just saw it this past Monday, it's visible upriver on the I-72 crossing of the Illinois River.
