I was down on Front Street at a ER for work comp because someone rear ended me yesterday at a stop light in my company van. So since MAC was only a block or two out of the way on the way home I decided to see what was there. And I was lucky enough to catch their switch engine out working. I don't think I've gotten a full view of this one before. 12-31-2024

Nice shot. I have a shot of this one before they repainted it. Different indeed. Do they still have their SW1, the 82, or is it no longer there? On my trips thru KC years ago, MAC was always worth stopping by. Ben

Almost looks like C&IM green?  

Glad you're OK after your rear end collision.  Thanks for sharing your MAC 92 catch - neat paint scheme-!

Weren't both their switcher painted in BN Grenstein green and Cream before?

I beleive 82 is still around, in green and off white paint if I remember correctly.

Thank you. It could have been a lot worse. The other driver didn't even hit her brakes and I was in my company car and had a customer with me. I was in a Pacifica, and she was in some small older Hyundai and hit us so hard she moved us a good 6 feet or so from the stop light to inside the 4 way intersection. I'm more than ready to go back to work in the morning, but I have to go check in with the work comp doctor before I can go in.

I matches a P40 exactly. Olive drab I believe the color is.
