No, this is not the Black Widow-painted ex-Portland and Western GP9 BUGX 1801.  I don't know what it is, but it's evidently moving with the 1801 AEI tags.

At this point, the estimated schedule looks this:
On BNSF, depart Barstow, CA and arrive Cadiz, AZ on the local in the afternoon of Sunday, the 12th
Overnight travel on the Arizona and California RR to Matthie, AZ
Picked up by BNSF and taken to Phoenix, AZ later on the 13th
From there, UP takes it into Mexico

I can only guess that timeline will fall down here and there.  Anyone able to go check it out?

Umler says it's a 1959 GP9.....but who knows?

UMLER even says it is an April 1959 built GP9, which lines up perfectly with former PNWR 1801. But haven't laid eyes on it either, so who knows. Where did the movement originate?

Originated in Stockton, CA.  Former PNWR 1801 is in Kansas.  I did see a picture of it on Facebook today.  Looks like an early-production GP38.
