1.  This picture was taken on November 4, 1988, again a northbound Roadrailer, with long hood forward, NS X7026N, #244 Roadrailer, crossing an Emory River tributary at Nemo,TN.  I was standing on the tunnel portal that the train is about to enter.  Unfortunately, the fall foliage is beyond its peak.

2.  A little later in the day, I was standing on the south side of the Nemo tunnel for this shot.  NS 7060 S, #151.  This train is a hot auto parts train destined for Atlanta.

Sometime between 1990 and 1994 during Bush #1s time as President.  I can not  be more specific, but I would bet there are others who can anrrow it down.

151, long known on the Southern as "The Spark Plug."

Great shots! I've been thrrough those tunnels  few times on excursions back in the late eighties to early nineties but never could I figure how to get back there on foot.
