Western Railroad Discussion > Westbound EthanolDate: 07/02/25 11:22 Westbound Ethanol Author: MacBeau Some westbound trains that descend into Chalender on the Seligman Sub in dynamic find it necessary to apply power to depart thanks to a gradient change, as was the case with this westbound recorded back in April.

Date: 07/02/25 13:23 Re: Westbound Ethanol Author: MacBeau My experience with the BNSF transcon is the same just about everywhere, if you don't get a train for thirty minutes, stay put there's a show coming, sometimes three or more. Twenty plus trains between Flagstaff and Kingman is not uncommon for a day trackside.

This would be for east of Williams Junction, includes the Phoenix traffic.
