Westbound Ethanol
Author: MacBeau

Some westbound trains that descend into Chalender on the Seligman Sub in dynamic find it necessary to apply power to depart thanks to a gradient change, as was the case with this westbound recorded back in April.
Be of good cheer,

Nice! Thanks for posting. Looks like a good spot. How busy is it through there these days?

My experience with the BNSF transcon is the same just about everywhere, if you don't get a train for thirty minutes, stay put there's a show coming, sometimes three or more. Twenty plus trains between Flagstaff and Kingman is not uncommon for a day trackside.

My last specific 24-hour train count was June 21st, with 66 trains midnight-to-midnight.  This would be for east of Williams Junction, includes the Phoenix traffic.
