The S-LHGNSA1-4 (LA Harbor-NS Ashland Ave Chicago) passes through Maine back on June 5th, and despite being over 13,000 tons and 13,000 feet long, this 4x3x0 was making pretty good time up the divide with lots of sex in air.

Awesome sound hearing that set work!

Sex in the air is probably pollen.  

I don't know if I added "sex in the air" for Mac on one of our meetings trackside, but the phrase to me came from a well known photographer and book author back in 1976 or 1977 when the two of us covered a lot of SP from Deming, NM to the summit of Santa Margareta on the Coast line.  Dave is a cool dude and in some great days on the road, he taught me some phrases I never knew.  "Sex in the air" stuck with me like gum on a shoe.

And MAC, that video had a great playing of the tune, "sex in the air"!  Great shots, by the way.
