Columbia and Cowlitz Railroad shops burn

The shops in Lonview WA burned to the ground looks like there was at least one loaded car and possibly an engine inside or next to it.. Looks like it started about four hours ago.  Just picked it up off the net.

Where were these shops? They don't pop up on Google. Not a good thing I'm sure.

Looks like an older wood structure was leased from another outfit couldnt find it on Google.  Said two engines were inside also some lumber loads were involved too.  The picture show in one view that the building was fully involved before they in another view of the same area had water on it.

Sadly one of the ex-Weyerhaeuser SW1500's was inside the shop when it burned. It's a total loss. Other locomotives were outside the shops and are undamaged.

Too bad. I have fond memories of riding the C&C over the great trestle and into the woods when Weyerhaeuser was running the railroad. Sad.
