Western Railroad Discussion > Columbia and Cowlitz Railroad shops burnDate: 08/25/25 19:28 Columbia and Cowlitz Railroad shops burn Author: BAB The shops in Lonview WA burned to the ground looks like there was at least one loaded car and possibly an engine inside or next to it.. Looks like it started about four hours ago. Just picked it up off the net.

Said two engines were inside also some lumber loads were involved too. The picture show in one view that the building was fully involved before they in another view of the same area had water on it.

It's a total loss. Other locomotives were outside the shops and are undamaged.
