Mountains surrounding Alpine Tunnel in Colorado include Mount Poor and Mount Helmers, which cradle the high alpine valley where the tunnel is located (Tunnel Gulch).  The Alpine Tunnel itself is nestled in the Sawatch Range of the Rocky Mountains, a vast mountain system containing many other peaks like Mount Elbert, the highest in Colorado.

Specific Peaks Near Alpine Tunnel
Mount Poor and Mount Helmers: These are two peaks that form the high alpine valley where the Alpine Tunnel is situated.

Denver South Park & Pacific RR (narrow gauge line) near Pitkin, CO, at Tunnel Gulch near the Alpine Tunnel (sealed off) 25 September 2025.  Video shows Alpine Station and ruined (fire in 1906) one track enginehouse that once featured a turntable, inspection pit, inside water tank and work area made of stone (granite).

Confirmed - Video works - NO sound.
