Western Railroad Discussion > Greely, ColoradoDate: 09/29/25 05:33 Greely, Colorado Author: DFWJIM I am a regular viewer on the Virtual Rail YouTube channel that often checks in on the Greely,CO at different times of the day. The information about the camera says there are 12 trains in a 24 hour period but I have yet to see one.
Are there certain times of the day or night that I can catch trains at this location? Thank you! Posted from Android Date: 09/29/25 06:16 Re: Greely, Colorado Author: bobdavis One went by about 415am this morning - a manifest - but I didn't do the 12-hour look-back..
Bob Date: 09/29/25 09:30 Re: Greely, Colorado Author: ns2557 There are North Platte to Denver, Cheyenne to Denver, which the Z LADV (Which I believe has been re symboled) plus the locals that work along the way plus the ones that run opposite of the ones mentioned here. That at least accounts for 6 scheduled. When I'm up that way, I usually run across a few between Denver and Cheyenne. Ben

James Nelson Thornton, CO www.flickr.com/mojaveflyer Date: 09/29/25 13:14 Re: Greely, Colorado Author: okcrr Z-DVSC will come by the camera around 530am-630am Tue-Sat (leaves denver at 4:30am sharp).
Z-LBDV will come by the camera in the evening, usually between 5:00pm-8:00pm, sometimes later but rarely any earlier. Autos/manifest/some containers usually come south before Z-DVSC comes north, or sometimes shortly after DVSC passes. 4am-6am Date: 09/30/25 05:02 Re: Greely, Colorado Author: DTrainshooter I just want to add that the correct spelling is GREELEY...named after Horace Greeley of "Go West young man" fame.
