BNSF has sent quite a few newly built/rebuilt ES44ACs and AC44C6Ms to Ferromex on its Fort Worth (Alliance) to Eagle Pass Z train. I've only ever seen DIT power on Z trains on BNSF though Date: 10/30/25 14:58 Former Chicago Metra Units still at Denver, CO, 30 Oct 202 Author: cozephyr Ex-Metra units went south on Joint Line out of Denver about 5:20 PM 30 October 2025 headed for Pueblo, CO. Drove by BNSF's Denver Locomotive Shop, Denver, CO, and noted the four former Chicago Metra units were still in the Mile High City Thursday, 30 October 2025 about 2:00 PM.
