Two-fer on a foggy Sunday morning
Author: oyw

I ventured out last Sunday morning to try and catch Amtrak #3 with Operation Lifesaver 203 in the daylight, taking advantage of the time change. It wasn’t as late as it needed to be, but I went down to Riverside hoping to get lucky. While waiting, thick fog rolled in and then BNSF 8281 came west just as #3 was accelerating from its station stop so I snapped a shot of the two. Sunlight would have been nice but I kind of like the way it turned out, as is.

Thanks for the look,

OYW

Nice one, Bob.  That area just east of the tracks (from the pole on the distant right to Cridge Avenue behind the photographer) has become my go-to spot for train photos here in Riverside.

I love the atmosphere and feeling of this photo. I think this is way better than a sunny shot! Good work!

Many TO members appreciate your "quest of perfect light" but are you showing off a new skill - quest for perfect fog?

Thanks for the shot!
