From the map the Broncos put out, the stadium itself is going to be situated primarily on the south end of Denver Water's campus (which has already been sold to the Broncos) and right up against the Joint Line mains. The site map does include a stop for the proposed Front Range Passenger Rail near 8th Ave.

The Broncos intend to keep the main locomotive shop building for use as a community hub, which is fantastic news. The turntable pit is also likely to be preserved, though the turntable itself was sold some time ago.

On that note... Beat the Raiders tonight!!

The shelf life for major sports stadiums txhese days, mostly built at taxpayer expense, seems about as long as the lifespan of the common house fly.

Hey enough! Us Raider fans deserve some understanding after Al passed away and left the
team to that knucklehead kid of his! As to the Broncos, never forget that game in Denver that
the Raiders won in a blizzard!

1 - On 2 April 2016 the railroad turntable was being removed from the closed Union Pacific RR Denver Locomotive Shop (former Denver & Rio Grande Western RR Burnham Shops) for movement to the Illinois Railroad Museum.

2 - View in summer 2025 shows empty Burnham Shops turntable pit south of West 8th Avenue bridge and Back Shop.  Structure between the empty turntable pit and the Back Shop was known as Spot 9 used for locomotive load tests.

Here's a few shots I took from inside the facility in Sept. 2010, while on the Blue Unit Circus Train.  It seems ironic that both the facility AND the train in the images are no longer going to be with us or are already gone.

They probably could build the entire Broncos Stadium Complex on taxes from weed sales alone.

Got news for you, the old man turned out to be a knuckle head also. If the Raiders never win another game ever, it wouldn't bother me any. If karma is an actual thing - Raiders.

A few years back John Oliver had this subject on his show. Can be looked up on YouTube and it’s as real an issue today as it was 30 years ago. The new Yankee Stadium and whatever the Detroit Tigers call their home are perfect examples of graft and extortion in the name of “Economic Growth”.

Welfare for millionaires and billionaires is the hot “In thing” zeitgeist of America don’t you know.

Don’t get me started.

But government ofen spends more than the revenue it receives, no matter what.
