Western Railroad Discussion > SP U25B running on Thomas train in PerrisDate: 11/07/25 22:39 SP U25B running on Thomas train in Perris Author: oyw Went down to the SCRM in Perris Saturday (Nov. 1) to see what they were using for power on the annual “Day Out With Thomas” trains. As of last Saturday, this year’s Thomas had SP U25B 3100 and the Percy train had RSD-1 1956. The visit was short and sweet, weather was great and after following the first run went home satisfied.
1) Here is 3100 parked on the platform before boarding. 2) Ellis Ave is one of the more open areas just north of the museum. The train was eight, mostly comet, cars with Thomas on the rear. 3) Last one is south of the museum at Mapes Road. Always fun to visit Perris and judging by the amount of cars in the parking lot, there were a lot of happy kids. Thomas and Percy will continue to run tomorrow, Sunday and Veteran’s Day. Great job Southern California Railway Museum! OYW Date: 11/08/25 06:00 Re: SP U25B running on Thomas train in Perris Author: SP8595 SP Lives:}

Plus its Mars light equipped. Posted from Android Date: 11/08/25 12:16 Re: SP U25B running on Thomas train in Perris Author: TheNavigator 3100 looks fine. Glad to hear the Thomas events seem to retain their popularity.
