SPTX 5703, SD45-2B, originally ATSF 5703 also was on the BNSF manifest. Here they are at BNSF's 31st Street Yard, Denver, CO. Power went to the Denver Locomotive Shop. These two units were moved over to UP's North Yard for movement to South Morrill, Nebraska. Units noted at UP's North Yard, Denver, CO, on Thanksgiving Day, 27 Nov 2025. Stay tuned-!
SPTX 5703 was ATSF 5703, SD45-2, converted in 1988 to a cabless SD45-2B renumbered ATSF 5517. ATSF 5703 was one of the five Bicentennial units during the 1975-1976 celebrations. Edited 6 time(s). Unit expected to be moved over to UP's North Yard and then moved into Nebraska.
