No skid marks appear in a friends photo.  Just shows gasoline can be stable, was wondering what haz mat experts could add

watched truck drivers throqw a lot matches into gas, with no igintion

the cloud is interesting stays so low,  lower than the cars engines it appeared and hot brakes perhaps

https://www.cbsnews.com/colorado/news/denver-fatal-crash-tanker-fuel-spill/

you can see how quickly the  street signal lights go to the disrupted mode

took my joy out of getting cheap gas along evans in s/e denver with 25 cents off a gallon  thru shell rewards from $1.82 regular price

So, a gasoline truck crashed into the Denver Regional Transportation District bridge in Denver, Colorado, on 27 November 2025-?  Hard to understand your post.

That was a most confusing post to figure out exactly what happened and why it pertained to a railroad.

Agreed,  this is a very unedited post probably designed for the voyeurists in Trainorders' membership.  And confusingly, what does this tradgedy have to do with gas prices in Denver???

Horrible, horrible accident.  I'm wondering if the driver had fallen asleep??  Just horrible.

And don't throw a match into gasoline--the previous poster doesn't know what he's talking about--you CAN do that with diesel, however, and it won't ignite.  Gasoline is a entirely different story, however, and I'm a HAZ-MAT certified truck driver with 1 million miles....

The reason I posted is look at the characteristics of gas from the tanker.    The fluid spreading with  steam almost coming off of it.   And I was interested in the gases behavior.     Why not post the lowest price in US that was 2000  feet away?   And when I worked at warehouse the truck drivers did take several attempts to ignites pool of gas, guess a fluke?   the truck driver appears to avoid cars  so he may not been asleep.     I had never seen gas behave in this manner,   So I was wondering about it.  Was it solid with some turning to gas,  was it very cold creating steam above it, was it vaporizing from being compressed?

Sherman you know exactly what  when it happened I don't criticize critique your posts , as I wanted to know about the fluid dynamics,  which is the crux of my post.   If there was doubt the viewer could go the link.

gonut  it crashed a rail lines bridge. So if you need rail linkage there it is.  Service was / is disrupted, but I was interested in fluid dynamics, so I pretty would have posted if this incident didn't involve that.

Caveman this is gas post , why not mention gas prices, he may have been delivering because of the low gas prices.   Have you ever seen  gas spreading after a wreck like this?  Rail, highway, pipeline? I had not

i have little hazmat experiences thought some rails may have, I'll i can do surmise the gas got aerated, was losing it's bubbles
