It should come as a surprise to no one that I like glint. Yesterday, I hit the trifecta.

After several hours of no traffic due to MOW work, I was ready to call it a day and head back into town. Just after crossing the tracks, and driving past the fairgrounds, I heard a horn down by the detector, two miles from downtown Ritzville. 

Odds were good, I figured, that it would be a Z train, so I flipped a U-turn and headed to a favorite afternoon spot.

Glint, glint, and more glint. It's hard to choose a favorite, but I do like the glinty pigs. Or maybe I just like the term "glinty pigs."

After the train passed, I set out to get ahead of it for another pass, but it ended up waiting until after sunset at Tokio, for a westbound Z.

I got a lot of mileage from this train, catching it from three spots.

Don't see to many glinty pigs posted on TO. I enjoyed it, too.

I was going to reply there, but I'll reply in this report instead. Headlight glint there and sunlight glint here. Nice chase and great stuff.

Nice ones! That first one made me say, "Wow!" It must have been exciting seeing that in the viewfinder.
