We are getting a new Smith County courthouse here in Tyler, Texas.

You can see off to the left welders are fabricating the dome to go on top of the courthouse.

Train made a one hour round-trip about 5 miles south of here to pick up hoppers from the Cemex plant.

Lead unit is X mop, trailing unit is ex MKT.

Track here was originally laid in the 1870's by the Int'l & Great Northern.

Looks like the engineer may have forgotten to flip the headlight control switch on the back wall when he switched ends.

Is the crossing cadance not required? I understand the extra blasts while passing through the construction zone but there appear to be regular streets that were crossed.
