Original crew went dead at Strasburg, Colorado. Dog catch crew brought train into Denver about noon 12 February 2026.

I saw that at least one was a former CSXT boxcar with faded paint.
Ted Curphey Ontario, OR Date: 02/12/26 19:44 Re: Stored Boxcars Pulled from Buick Siding, CO Author: pdt when we had stored 50' box cars like these on the west coast, they were mosty ex-IPD box cars that were somewhat lightly refurbed by UP and Given BKTY reporting marks. Some just had former roads blacked out, some give a quick coat of tuscan paint.

A large group of BKTY cars in the BKTY 150xxx through BKTY 157xxx range are involved as they are aging out at the 50 year mark. Many have already made their final runs.
