Made a trip to Cleburne TX on Saturday 02-28-2026 with SD70MAC's in storage to eventually be moved further south to meet their demise with a cutting torch. Stopped at Midlothian along the way.

1. BNSF Venus local tied down at Midlothian TX on the Venus sub with BNSF 2734 having seen better days. Looks like a Leggo cab unit now lol.
2. CF7 units 1001 and 1002 at TCB Transload facility at Midlothian TX on 02-28-2026. These two units have been on the property for almost 30 years and still earning their keep.
3. Retired SD70MAC's eventually getting scrapped in the coming days at BNSF Cleburne yard.

Another 15 SD70MAC's are on their way to doom down your way. They passed thru the Colorado Springs south out of Denver on 3-2-2026.  Among them is BN/BNSF 9402, part of the first order from Nov 1993.  Thanks for sharing these shots.  Ben
