BNSF (H1) 1044 with blue AC unit, where’d it come from?

So, where'd this come from? (The AC unit) And don't say BC Rail, their late blue Dash-9s were not equipped with AC units. Even came with a back door behind the conductors seat. Maybe CSX?

BNSF likely bought some AC units second hand from parts suppliers. That deep blue makes me believe that its ex CSX, likely off of a Dash 8?

Cannot be BCR, BCR never orderd C44-9Ws with AC units. I guess they dont need them up there...

MRL did not own GEs, and I doubt SD70ACe AC units would fit on GEs. But yes the blue is definitely a bit more worn like MRL.
