Western Railroad Discussion > "PRC" emblem on BN-1 and BN-2 at Illinois Railway MuseumDate: 03/05/26 08:38 "PRC" emblem on BN-1 and BN-2 at Illinois Railway Museum Author: CedarRapids During a visit to IRM last September, I photographed the above-noted F9s and noted a "PRC" emblem on them. What does PRC stand for in this case?
I did some searching but could not find anything definitive. There was a posting from May 4, 2022 asking the same question, but the responses were not useful. Thanks, Elizabeth Date: 03/05/26 10:32 Re: "PRC" emblem on BN-1 and BN-2 at Illinois Railway Museum Author: Spoony81 Doing a search on the Burlington Northern Railroad FB page it looks like its stands for "Presidential Rail Coach" It was named by Mrs Grinstein and this was per a member who worked at the West Burlington shop and was involved with the executive units
