A pair of BNSF freight trains meet at the Fullerton train station:  BNSF eastbound H-WATBAR1-20A (a Freight heading from Watson CA to Barstow CA behind BNSF 6113, 3990, 1111, 6735, 5124 and 3858) and a Baretable train heading to Los Angeles CA from St. Paul MN, B-STPLAC7-15A with BNSF 5071 and 9284 powering it).

Good timing.  Sounds like BNSF 6113 picked up a P3 horn somewhere along the line.

Nice vid!
How is the atmosphere at Fullerton these days?  Any issues wtih hanging out on the platforms or the bridge?  Overzealous rent-a-cops?  Or the local miscreants?
I was tempted to drive over there this afternoon, but decided to finish my tax return instead.

No rent-a-cops, no gate dragons checking to see if you have a ticket to be on the platform, Fullerton PD swings by every now and then and the few "homeless" hide out on the east end so as to not attract any attention.

I've never had an issue at this station!  And on this night, I was there until 23:18 (10:18 pm), as I was catching Metrolink's last train of the day home.  (That's one of the trains that just got suspended for a while.)

People-wise, the station is an active area most of the day with passengers and locals, as it is walking distance from downtown Fullerton, including a wide variety of restaurants.  The station does have a small cafe (sandwiches and the like, plus snacks).  Be forewarned about one thing, though ... no public restrooms, should you need one.  But many of the restaurants nearby have them available.

The station is also an active place for rail activity, although in the mornings and afternoons the BNSF dispatchers give priority to the Amtrak and Metrolink passenger trains.  Freights still pass through, but not quite as frequently during the passenger rush hours.
