BNSF Train Symbol help
Author: ns2557

I can usually figure out what most BNSF Symbols in their system are with help from some of the info on the web. But this one has me stumped.  Found out that BNSF ES44AC 6111, one of the 25th Anniversary Units is assigned to a G EDILRX9 26. A Grain train apparently, but what are the EDI and LRX parts of the symbol?  Could EDI be Edison Ca? and LRX perhaps here in Colorado, maybe the interchange with the Colorado Pacific on the ex ATSF at NA Jct east of Pueblo? Or am I way off base on either of these? Trying to figure where it came from or is headed next.  Thanks for any help.  Have a great day all.  Ben
