SD70ACe 8611 was fresh out of the box that March morning 2008, and looked it climbing San Timoteo Canyon eastbound. The third unit, built as SP 8010, stood out in landscape littered with six axle power. A little research reveals it lives on as Arizona Eastern 4005 working the ex-SP line between Clifton and Miami, Arizona.

It looked good back then.  I cannot for the life of me understand why UP chose to do away with the wings for the latest repaints.
