Tracking the UP OCS eastward
Author: JPB

I often the check Trains on Demand's west facing Glidden IA live cam for sunset photos and was pleasantly surprised to discover the eastward passage of UP's OCS at 2030 CDT Wednesday 4/8/26. Further east the OCS passed the Boone live cam about an hour later and then it crossed the MIssissippi River on the Clinton County Historical Society's live cam at 0148 CDT 4/9/26 (about 30 minutes after CPKC MMX-180 led by CPR heritage unit 7016 passed on the track in the foreground). An hour after the Clinton appearance, the OCS passed VR's Rochelle live cam at 0250.

I don't know where the OCS - any ideas where the UP OCS might be spotted next on the US network of live cams. Is the OCS headed for NS-land?

Should have arrived in Proviso Yard this morning.   49/26.

Don't know outbound plans.
