RPCX 804 on BNSF Denver, CO, to Laurel, MT, train 4 May 2026

Video NO sound RPCX 804, F7A, nee-Spokane, Portland & Seattle 804 was built in 1953 by EMD.  Unit was on BNSF's Denver, CO, to Laurel, Montana, train passed Utah Junction north of Denver, CO, 4 May 2026.  Destination is Inland Northwest Railroad Museum at Reardon, Washington.

Photo - RPCX 804 passed the snow capped Colorado Rockies on BNSF's Front Range Subdivision at Highland, CO, 4 May 2026.

Great job! Love the shot of the F unit with Longs Peak in the background.

I was doing a little research, and it looks like 35 F7s have been preserved and avoided the torch, this being one of them. For context, that is 35 of the 3,856 originally built (2,393 F7As + 1,463 F7Bs).

That first photo is outstanding, cozephyr!   And thank you so much for assisting us in getting our F7A (MUSX 9163) to Texas.   We will invite you to the dedication when work is completed at the the Museum of the American Railroad in Frisco!  We can't wait to present it to the public as a fully-operable locomotive in its new paint.  rww
