BNSF OIG-Bound Stacker at Aquatic Park

Aerial view of a stack train as it rolls along the tree-cutting work area in Berkeley. This is easily one of the stranger places you'll visit not least becauase of the presence of an on-line shipper with a spur. Unfortunately, no empties on the stub-end of the landside drill on this beautiful afternoon but I have attached some pictures taken on another date.

Enjoyed the video, as a kid Aquatic Park meant we were almost to the Bay Bridge, funny how that drive felt like it took forever back then - and it probably takes twice as long now!

I never drive 80 tand then the bridge but it always seems like the trip into San Francisco would be an ordeal. I like getting off freeway at Gilman and driving the frontage road if possible. Pretty driving right next to bay especially in afternoon when its windy and the water is white-cappin'.

Shoot, I'd take the Buchanan exit and follow Eastshore Highway. If you time it right you can catch whatever trains pop up at every grade crossing to Oakland.

Time for me to ride my bike over there to see the new look of that ROW!

Enjoyed how you flew the drone and how you edited the video - sound, video speed, and angles!

Excellent!  Any work on clearing the ROW north (RR East) of University Ave. yet?

Cheers,
Harry

I haven't seen anything north of Bancroft. Seems like they have been doing Bancroft to Potter (south end of Aquatic Park).

Sort of unrelated news except for the waterside drill: the Richmond Pacific put some coal hoppers on the waterside drill down by Central Ave. Haven't seen that in a while.
