This is easily one of the stranger places you'll visit not least becauase of the presence of an on-line shipper with a spur. Unfortunately, no empties on the stub-end of the landside drill on this beautiful afternoon but I have attached some pictures taken on another date.

I like getting off freeway at Gilman and driving the frontage road if possible. Pretty driving right next to bay especially in afternoon when its windy and the water is white-cappin'.

Sort of unrelated news except for the waterside drill: the Richmond Pacific put some coal hoppers on the waterside drill down by Central Ave. Haven't seen that in a while. |
