By reading this, one doesn't get that hostile, finger-pointing bull as most other train wreck news coverage gets.
I was also amazed that this author actually reported the BNSF locomotive number. Can't imagine how the kids felt at the HS during the game, hope everyone copes with it alright. Everytime I hear a siren and he's not at home, I prepare myself. I call him on his cell *he gets so irritated* and when he answers I know he's safe.
and yes, the reporter did an outstanding job in such a sensitive situation. Tragic situation.
