Western Railroad Discussion > Unusual Loco at DenverDate: 06/21/04 06:03 Unusual Loco at Denver Author: HarrisA About 3 weeks ago my brother-in-law was in Denver and saw "a small black loco with distinctly rounded ends, about SW1500 size but with a half-height short (rounded) nose. It was painted black all over, with no visible lettering or numbers. It was standing on it's own, a short distance away from the UP locomotive depot in Denver." Unfortunately, he did not have his camera with him at the time.
Sounded a bit like a BL2! Has anybody else seen it, and can identify it and explain what it is doing there? Thanks, Tony Harris Date: 06/21/04 14:45 Re: Unusual Loco at Denver Author: TopcoatSmith Sounds like that little Davenport(???) that used to reside south of the station along I-25. Anyone else?
TCS - bl-2s only exist in foriegn countries like Down East ... |
