Unusual Loco at Denver
Author: HarrisA

About 3 weeks ago my brother-in-law was in Denver and saw "a small black loco with distinctly rounded ends, about SW1500 size but with a half-height short (rounded) nose. It was painted black all over, with no visible lettering or numbers. It was standing on it's own, a short distance away from the UP locomotive depot in Denver." Unfortunately, he did not have his camera with him at the time.

Sounded a bit like a BL2! Has anybody else seen it, and can identify it and explain what it is doing there?

Thanks,
Tony Harris

Sounds like that little Davenport(???) that used to reside south of the station along I-25. Anyone else?

TCS - bl-2s only exist in foriegn countries like Down East ...
