Date: 06/23/04 16:04 Re: istd camera Author: LenKratz I haven't seen one yet, but would like to get my hands on one to learn about its features and faults (if any). If I change formats from 35mm SLR to digital, I want to be able to use my Pentax lenses. I must say, though, that I sure like my Pentax LX's.
Take a look at the Pentax forum on www.photo.net. There you'll find discussions on all types of Pentax equipment, including the ist-d. That forum looks like a good place to ask specific questions and get honest answers. LK Date: 06/23/04 17:35 Re: istd camera Author: santafedan I have one! I have a Pentax 35mm SLR and may never use it again. The lenses are interchangeable with the *istD. I have been experimenting with it because I am headed to Alaska in 2 weeks. Amtrak 7/8, Alaska RR and White Horse and Yukon RR too.
The images I posted on the eastern board were the first train images. This was shot into the sun. http://www.trainorders.com/images2/view.php?13413 I can shoot as fast as I can click. It feels and sounds like a 35 mm SLR. I know it is expensive but...it does what the 35mm can do. Date: 06/24/04 14:39 Re: istd camera Author: fbe Here's the link to the review at www.dpreview.com. They also have a Pentax DSLR users' forum. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/pentaxistd/ |
