One of the last places where the 9800's ran before being patched was the Coast Line in 2000. Here is the 9802 leading the afternoon Q-train down near King City with Chalone Peak in the background.

One of the e-units last trips on the Coast Line was back in 2001 on a retirement special. Here the E's splitting the searchlights at Harlem.

Thanks for nice pictures! I plan a trip to the Coastline. How many freights are there during daytime? When are locals running? Especially the area around Cuesta and Ventura is really scenic!
