UP 9992 = WP 3558 Both from WP's second and last order of GP40-2s, built April 1980. So they're 25 years old this month. The 3558 has been around NorCal a bit in the last couple years. I've seen it in and out of Newhall for a while. 3559/UP 9993 is the last new locomotive built for the WP, with an official build date of April 19, 1980. She's out there somewhere, last I heard in the midwest. Z |
