SP 8584 leads the LRQ83 today 6.9.05
Author: alex14ramos

The SP 8584, an SD40M-2 that was trailing on the MRVSJ yesterday will now lead the LRQ83 according to a report I got from someone on the sidelines. I beleive that the LRQ83 will leave San Jose and head down the coast to the Watsonville area? Or Salinas area? Not exactly sure on that. As to what time, last I heard, at about 11:30 or so, they were still contacting 'spatcher 58 at San Jose. I am still not exactly sure the situation, maybe someone can spot it somewhere on the line and make a reply to inform other foamers as to what it is doing.

Have fun,
Alex Ramos

The 'Salinas' Hauler usually leaves Watsonville after #14 in the evening, and returns in the wee hours of the morning. Are you sure you haven't heard the MSJRV leaving?

Those certainly are cars for Watsonville. And the geep's are the regulars for the local jobs outta there.
I'll be out to Salinas later this afternoon, have a chat with the local crew, if they are still there. Somethings up with the hauler this late. Maybe due to the Richmond episode yesterday?

Was the RVSJ significantly late into SJ?

Yesterday, I think it passed through Berkeley at like 5 or 6. Somewhere around there.

The whole Coast Line is screwed up top to bottom. There's dead trains everywhere. Saw some of the dead trains in question today.
