..in Denver!<G> Since the topic comes up frequently. For before and after railfanning the Moffat or the Joint Line or the Front Range Sub, or the wife and kids while doing the above......... Particularly useful since, although it's actually at the head of 17th Street, Union Station is served by the 16th Street Shuttle, as is the Oxford Hotel ($$$$$) across the street.

Too bad Amtrak and Union Station are mentioned only once, and RTD's popular and growing light-rail system only twice, but what the hey....

And no, I don't work for the Denver Chamber of Commerce, haven't been to downtown Denver except on-board #5/6 in almost 15 years (even though I live only 180 miles west) and have yet to ride the light-rail system....:=(

Wynkoops Brewery!!!

Take Lightrail to the 10th and Osage station just south of downtown.
The Buckhorn Exchange has many stuffed animals the kids will enjoy.
The adults will like the many different game meats on the menu.
