May I say it again and again and again. Amazing, and I wanna see more more more. Now if Tower 55 comes out with these units, my bank book may be more empty.

On the full size version of this pic, the logo on the side reads "Proven Heritage" over
"Powerful Future"which is followed by the "Building America" logo. They are pretty striking in person. Ed

Those look amazing! Im only 23, so I don't have any real heritage on these two roads, and I hope true fans of the MP and WP aren't disappointed, because from an outsider, that is spectacular looking. Plus, you had to figure that UP has to get their name somewhere on these, its only good marketing! Thumbs up UP!

The units are truly great and will be offered by Tower 55 and Overland Models. We will be at the Qwest Center today...Saturday. Now that the cat is out of the bag everyone can now see these much anticipated units.

Just as an fyi...the copy on the rear section just below the radiators reads in two lines...Proud Heritage. Powerful Future. then the UP shield. Then Building America in a single line.

Tower 55 and Overland Models will offer the entire line of Heritage Units in both lines. Enjoy! Our sites will be updated by Tuesday.

Cool, just put those babies on the QNPHK and then the MHKSK after that. I like the other gazillion railfans will be on the lookout for those units.

I like that shot papio, especially how you can see 844 in the backround!

Those look MUCH cooler than I expected. The MP unit just screams speed and motion. And the WP unit is just downright jazzy.

BNSF should have hired whoever designed these units to come up with their new image.

Brian, you sure you didn't have anything to do with the UP doing these paint jobs? :-)

THATZ HOT! The MP paint version is just awesome, love the way they double use the screaming eagle logo both in white and as a stylized way to seperate the baby blue in the front of the hood from the dark blue at the rear. That WP unit ain't bad either with the feather both seperating the green and gray and carrying off onto the roof and front of the flared radiators. Not too hot on that gray but it does blend in the silver trucks and underframe a little better. Can't wait to see these trackside, SEND THEM ON AN OAKLAND BOUND STACKER PLEASE!!!
