BNSF Hi- Line Reopened

The HI-Line reopened at 1400 today. A parade of Eastbounds, led by Amtrak# 8, went through the derailment area. There was a pause for further work @1700. Currently, there are several Eastbounds in sidings heading up as well as Westbounds waiting their turn.

I remmber a similar incident on Tahachapi. Eastbound Santa Fe train put about twelve cars on the ground at Bealville (This was 1988) The mess gets cleaned up by mid next day and Slambo!! Trains everywhere. Pretty busy.

That's Tehacipi though, any major disruption causes everyone to back up the main, but once the floodgates are released, feild day (for railfans that is!)
